I'm Jay, and I'm based in Austin, TX. I've been born and brought up in Mumbai, India, and earned my Associates and Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, in Mumbai too.
I then flew to College Park, MS to pursue further studies focused on Data Science. I've been working with Amazon for 3 years now, and have been in a Cloud Engineer role in the past, now working as a Business Intelligence Engineer. Outside of work, I love traveling, and because I enjoy being behind the wheel, roadtrips are an added bonus. I play they guitar and keyboard, and like to sing as well - a bit of classical music, but mostly popular Hindi and English songs. I am a happy dancer, and don't shy away from shaking a leg to get a party started. Always jump on a chance at conceptualizing/directing/acting in fun skits. I find time to try out brewing coffees in various ways. I am a huge film buff, and a lifelong student of filmmaking - I even made time during my bachelors degree to work on a few TV shows/movies as an Asst. Editor. I also find teaching a deeply fulfilling and incredibly rewarding experience, and am always on the lookout for such opportunities at work.
