grew up in a small town in maharashtra playing gully cricket and reading encyclopedias! have always loved math/science and decided to pursue engineering despite both parents being doctors; lucky to have highly supportive parents :) got a chance to do undergrad at iit bombay, moved to the us for phd, and subsequently dropped out in order to do something more impactful. currently working on research in machine learning applications to healthcare at google. in my free time, i like to play the guitar, listen to classical/postrock music, and read about entirely obscure topics. recently started spending more time on sports and fitness. i believe curiosity and optimism are two are my most salient and important traits.
